I see a mama massage in my future…

  2. sarah says:

I’d love to win this! Hubby and I just moved into a new-to-us house and our fridge’s compressor broke that day! The extra cash would be nice (though i’d obviously rather spend it on a spa day ;) )

  3. Kristy says:

Such a thoughtful notion, to pamper the handful of readers! Mother’s Day is so underestimated, though it sits in the ranks of all great things (especially when you mention a spa date!). As far as $100, I would probably spoil my mama and grandma. They have seniority and deserve it!

  4. amy says:

My ultimate Mother’s Day would include a yummy brunch, yummy dinner, hanging with my sweet baby girl and her daddy, maybe a picnic, and, most important, no laundry/dishes/cleaning/errands to tend to on the never-ending “to do” list.

  5. Jen says:

I would love to spoil myself as it seems like I rarely have any “me” time in the day (or year ;)

  6. Joan says:

I would use it to treat my mom and I to a fun day together here next weekend on our belated mother’s day.

  7. Jesse Belcourt says:

My Mother’s Day is always a huge BBQ with our entire family on my Mom’s side. We have so much fun and the kids get to play with all of their cousins.

  8. Jolie says:

I would love to go to a hotel and just sleep for the whole day…when needing food…order room service! :)

  9. Libby Miller says:

I still just think about spoiling my own mom. Being one myself now just makes me want to do even more for her!

  10. Melissa says:

The ultimate Mother’s Day would start with some major sleeping-in, which around here means 8am. Then we would head out for calorie free bagels and cream cheese followed closely by a nap. Then we would end the day with a long uninterrupted phone call with my mom.

  11. Marlene W. says:

My goodness – that party looks so great! I wish a 1000 wishes that I had a party like that to go to here! Must start thinking about how to get one going!
Honestly, around here these days, $100 would be spent things I swoon over at the garden centre, and part of me wants a zillion tulip bulbs. At the end of the day though, I have to say, I am pretty content with my life and my boys (both big and small).

  12. chelsea says:

A massage, a mother’s day brunch, a long walk in the sun with my baby girl and husband, a dinner cooked for all of us and someone to do the dishes. :)

  13. I’d love to go on a date with my husband. I hardly remember what he looks like.

  14. Jessi says:

A date with me self!!! Chalked full of a nice latte to start, follwed by a haircut and perhaps a lil shopping to find a nice new shirt and some new lipstick!!

  15. Melissa W. says:

2 tickets to see one of the summer shows at Big Sky Brewery w/ my man.

  16. Kristal says:

Flowers. Lots of flowers. And some fun in the sun. And more flowers.

  17. I would love a new summer dress and sandals! And then time to wear it :)

  18. Lee says:

I live my kids dearly, but my perfect mothers day would be to not be mom for the day, or at least the afternoon!

  19. Kim says:

My dream Mother’s Day would be to go back home and spend it with my mom and sister.

  20. I would love to get a day of pampering. A new hair cut, maybe even nails… the toes that is… in hopes that the weather is warm enough to show them off. Second mother’s day for me. what a year it has been.

  21. Ali says:

Kids start pre-school in the fall. We need extra $ for that!

  22. Lindsey says:

    Today’s entry submission, check.

  23. Rhett Hoff says:

Some delicious bread, cheese, olives, and wine. My favorite dinner but definitely a splurge!

  24. Alison says:

I would take my mom and 2 sisters out for a wonderful meal….just us moms!

  25. Christa says:

The therMOMeter is climbing slowly but surely, i see a new swimsuit in this mom’s future!

  26. Ruth says:

I helped 2 babies come into the world last night – one a new mom and one a 2nd time mom. Both beautiful and amazing! My son turns one in a few days…I remember the day…beautiful and amazing!

  27. Miranda says:

My perfect Mother’s Day would consist of me sleeping in while my husband gets up with our son and feeds him breakfast, changes him out of his jammies, ect. I would then take my mom out for a lunch date and browse for flowers, veggie seeds and such then spend the afternoon planting in her garden. My Mother’s Day would be finished off with a lovely dinner with my husband and son, not cooked or cleaned up by me of course!

  28. kwqr says:

My most hoped for mother’s day gift is… sleep! Even just a little bit. Have had too many late nights & way too early mornings recently. Oh sweet sleep, perchance to dream…

  29. Eva says:

My ideal Mother’s Day weekend is a fun couple of days with my son. Now that he’s getting older I feel like I already don’t get to see him as much as I’d like.

  30. Scooter says:

My ideal Mother’s Day would be to join the Wild Walk with my sweet four year old and his Dad, then have a nice lunch followed by a nap, and maybe a bike ride. Or really anything involving my boys instead of studying… :(

  31. Leana says:

Fabulous mother’s day entails a little time with no kiddos — maybe a nice hike — and then some fun family event. And no dish washing!

  32. Steph says:

I would love to “re-gift” the $100 to a “new mama” friend. She is doing a great job as a new mom and deserves a little extra something special for herself!

  33. Laurie Kitch says:

A great Mother’s Day would be spending the time with my family! Love them very much!

  34. Kim B. says:

Dream Mother’s Day? Planting flower pots for the deck with my kiddos….that is the best!!!

  35. Ruth says:

My best mama memories this year have been watching my two children laughing and playing together! My son is almost 1 and it has been wonderful to him and my 3 year old interact. Brings warm fuzzies to my heart every time!

  36. Jen says:

My greatest memory this last year was playing music at a gig with two of my kids and my neice. It was summer, and we were outside at a big ranch. The sun was setting over the mountains, the temperature was perfect, the smell of mountain air and the smiles on their faces made me feel like everything was right in my world…..a memory I won’t ever forget and will latch onto when I am going through the rough patches in their teen years!!

  37. Jen says:

My best memory from this year is taking my 2yo on his first rafting trip and seeing how how much he loves the outdoors.

  38. Ali says:

    $100 for something practical.

  39. Samantha says:

Best mom memory this year–hard to pick just one! Maybe the time my little girl wrote her name all by herself!

  40. jody says:

i can’t think of one specific time or place. what comes to mind is my tweeny bopper and how much i have enjoyed this shift of gears…probably just hanging out with her, talking and laughing.

  41. amy says:

Its hard to pick a favority mom memory this year — watching my daughter grow into a loving and feisty 18-month old, while supporting my own mom through chemo and radiation — what a wile ride!

  42. Laurie Schlueb says:

Listening to my toddler and preschooler laugh their heads off at each other when they are supposed to be going to sleep.

  43. Karin says:

Seeing the look on my oldest daughters face when she first met her little sister!!! :) Precious.

  44. Lee says:

The first time my daughter read something to me that I knew she was really reading, not remembering, pretty great!

  45. Heather says:

When my son said “love you too, mommy” for the first time, right after he threw a huge hissy over getting his shirt on.

  46. Melissa says:

My favorite memory of being a mom from this past year would have to be the transition from being a mom of one to being a mom of two. While I was in labor with my second, I put my first-born to bed with tears in my eyes. I was mourning her loss as an only child. Less than 12 hours later I was holding my new babe and feeling my heart stretch enough to provide love for both of them.
    Happy Mother’s Day!!

  47. laurie says:

Happy early (and currently sunny!) Mother’s Day to all the wonderful moms, mamas, mothers, nanas – enjoy!

  48. chelsea says:

this one is easy: becoming a mom! Looking into my daughters eye’s for the first time–will I always tear up thinking about it?

  49. Dakota says:

My boy is so independent and doesn’t like to hold my hand regularly or give hugs… he’s always off and running to the next exciting thing to do. But my favorite memory this year is having him run up to me and give me an honest-to-goodness hug AND a “kiss” on the cheek. My other favorite memories are holding him during quiet time before bed and having him “play” piano with me. I’ve been trying to imprint the feel of his little body in my arms ever since he was born and those quiet times are so special.

  50. Maggie says:

ooo! This is going to be fun! Thanks for putting this together all you lovely ladies!
