Missoula Business Women’s Symposium

Businesswomen in Missoula, unite! Ok, maybe that’s a little dramatic, but Missoula Businesswomen’s Network is still proud to invite the ladies of Western Montana to join in a day of networking, entrepreneurial enrichment and inspirational guests. The day we are referring to is the Missoula Businesswomen’s Network Symposium, happening on January 29 at the Hilton Garden Inn. This event is a day filled with seminars by notable speakers on topics such as marketing a business, tips to financial success, women’s health and overall well-being as it pertains to being a hardworking businesswoman or entrepreneur in the Missoula area and in the struggling U.S. economy.

In addition to enjoying a great seminar lineup, Symposium goers will come face-to-face with the woman behind one of America’s favorite go-to snack mix, Gardetto’s. Nan Gardetto, the Symposium’s keynote speaker, served as Executive Vice President of Gardetto’s from 1975-1999, where she is known as the creator of the famous Gardetto’s Snack Mix. Nan now serves as Owner/CEO of Baptista’s Bakery, a snack manufacturing company centered in Wisconsin that emerged out of the 1999 sale of Gardetto’s to General Mills. Baptista’s continues the family tradition of providing products that taste great, are nutritional, and appeal to consumers.

Past speakers for this event include incredible females such as motivational speaker Carol Grace Anderson and most recently Julie Powell, author of “Julie and Julia”.
