Joellen and Farm to Family rocks!

  5. Mary says:

My vote is for Kaci. Took a lot of courage to take the plunge and bring the Infant Swimming program to Montana. Saves lives and brings peace of mind to parents!! Way to go, Kaci!

  6. Colleen says:

Voting for Lara…post-partum depression kills both mothers and children and destroys families…support can make a difference!.

  7. Sherry Kortan says:

Voting for Jackie!! Jax hats are becoming a hit even in hot AZ!!! I have had so many compliments on mine and the older teens are asking how to find them.

  8. Sue says:

    Go Jen,

You have worked hard and you deserve it.

    Love ya

  9. Claire Emery says:

My vote is for Joellen! She has the vision, smarts, and tenacity to make local food available to more people, thereby keeping small farmers on the land, maintaining open space for wildlife, and supporting our local economy! Love her values and her courage!

  10. Jamie says:

Jennifer Plum ROCKS! She is an amazing person, mom and businesswoman!

  11. Yancey says:

Pass It On Missoula is an amazing service for local families. Where else can you get virtually flaw free Infant & Toddler clothes at 3 for $5, really nice coats, snowsuits, beautiful dresses and hansom outfits for $5 each? Maternity at 3 for $10… With a knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. And to top it all off, she also helps provide job training with Mountain Home Montana’s new mothers to assist them in becoming self-sustained members of our community. Every town should have it so good! This business truly fits the Missoula sustainable philosophy. The only thing better for the planet than recycling is re-using. GO PASS IT ON MISSOULA!!!

  12. Barbara Marxer RN says:

Lara Mattson Radle has done so much to increase awareness of Postpartum Depression and support for women who suffer from this difficult malady. She sponsored a conference here in Missoula to educate medical, mental health professionals and people who work with families about this condition. She is much responsible for developing resources to prevent and treat Postpartum Depression in our community. As a nurse who works with childbearing women, I greatly appreciate the work she has done!

  13. Jessie says:

Go Jenny! OK, I’m biased because I’m her sister, but she became a business owner at age 25 while raising a toddler and taking her to work every day! Running a retail business and helping customers while caring for a child – that’s an amazing juggling act that requires a ton of hard work and dedication. And she is an expert on how to care for all pets and passionate about the absolute best food for your dog or cat. Everyone here is an awesome candidate, but Jenny and Pet Nebula have my vote! :)

  14. Mike S. says:

Kim Williams has my vote. Raising 3-year old twin boys (think Desperate Housewives and the chaos of those twins) is a feat alone; top that and building her jewelry business from scratch. She’s active in community events, helps others with business networking, and even supports charity causes like breast cancer awareness. When she can, she’s out working shows like First Friday from a suitcase and has landed retailers around the country and in high end malls and private clubs to carry her line. She’s even had celebrities wearing her stuff in fashion shows in Las Vegas and featured in national magazines. Way to put Missoula, and Montana, on the map nationally Kim!

  15. Bette says:

I vote for Kim Williams. With two active 3 year old’s, what she has accomplished is simply Amazing. Best of luck with your new business, Kim!

  16. Karyn says:

Pass It On Missoula is such an incredible service! Missoula is very fortunate to have such a wonderful resource, as well as the opportunity to work with Crissy Manhan. A loving mother of three beautiful children, wonderful wife, and such a valuable asset to the Missoula community to have started and continued to grow such a successful business, so selflessly.
I admire all you have accomplished and your dedication and service to all familes in the Missoula community.
My vote is for Pass It On Missoula and Crissy Manhan! You have won in our hearts, and truly deserve this! Go Crissy!

  17. jean wheatley says:

i think jen should win she works real hard at managing her family and her job.and she has done a great job.

  18. Ruth says:

My vote is for Jackie, I just love her infant and children’s hats. My granddaughters (9 mo) look so cute in them.

  19. Afton says:

Since we met Crissy this summer she has gone above and beyond in working with Mountain Home Montana to fit her business model so that it benefits families in need in Missoula even more. I can now tell the families that Mountain Home serves as well as other agencies that work with families in Missoula that their clients do not have to go without, but can access free and affordable clothing at Pass It On Missoula.

  20. PatrickG says:

Pass it On Missoula is an amazing service and Crissy rocks!

  21. Kristy P says:

I vote for Crissy and Pass it On Missoula. Their services are amazing to provide affordable clothing to Missoula families, while also providing for families in need in our community and job training and skills for teenage moms. Her vision and passion are unmatched!

  22. The Remy's says:

Our votes go to Crissy Manhan…wonderful business operated by super talented businesswoman, mom, and niece. A vote for Crissy is a vote to improve business (at affordable prices) for everyone to enjoy and “pass it on”!!! GOOOOO CRISSY!!!!

  23. Lynn says:

Crissy is a smart, dedicated, hardworking, entrepreneurial delight of a woman, and I am so happy to cast my vote for her. She is clearly in good company in this poll – it is awesome to see so many talented women – but I definitely think her contributions to the community and to her business are “above and beyond” the normal. I enthusiastically cast my vote for her!

  24. Jackie Priess of Jax Hats is not only someone who is exceptionally creative, gifted and talented. She is one of the most kind hearted women I have ever met in my entire life! Jackie is someone who would drop everything she is doing to help a friend in need! She is an amazing mom to her girls! Everytime I wear my Jax Hats, I can’t tell you how many compliments I get on them! Thank you so much for all that you do!

  25. liz Posio says:

I want to say how nice this store is. I work at a very rural school on the reservation and go there to buy extra clothes and coats for the children at the school. Some come with no coats and being able to get coats and donate others makes this store a number one in my book

  26. Prairie Matthews says:

Happy and Healthy New Year FARM TO FAMILY !!!!

  27. It has been an honor to be counted among these wonderful women and businesses! Happy New Year everyone!

  28. What an awesome contest and an honor to be apart of this group of women. Thanks to everyone and good luck!
