As technology improves rapidly, consumers are faced with the question of what to do with their old electronics. Electronics products that have broken or become obsolete are referred to as “E-Waste”. Recycling of these items can be expensive as it involves physically dismantling the components. So, they often end up in landfills where they pose a risk to the human health and the environment.
Thanks to generous support from LG Electronics, the Missoula Community again has the opportunity to dispose of Electronic Waste for free. Collected items will be shipped to a Waste Management facility where they will be recycled.
The Erase Your E-Waste collection event will be held on October 9th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Missoula County Fairgrounds. Televisions, Computers, VCR’s, Cell-phones, stereos, radios and other small electronics will be accepted for free up to 5 items and for one
dollar each for five to 10 items. Large appliances, Refrigerators, freezers and microwaves will not be accepted.
This event was organized and supported by Vann’s, LG Electronics, The University of Montana, Waste Management, and Pello Events.
Upon learning of the event’s return to Missoula, Mayor John Engen stated, “I really appreciate LG Electronics’ and Vann’s efforts to ensure that consumer electronics aren’t piling up in our landfills when their components can be recycled and, in some cases. Re-used. This is a good
thing for Missoula and its citizens”

Flexible person can make critical decision. Decision maker is not only do the things right but also do the right things. Many people don’t realize that. This phenomenon can be tired one, but only wise people can give honest opinion in critical time. I have been wondering about this time, between USA and other country, I predict that it will recover as soon as possible. Your give great articles, it can be used for anticipate other problems in the future. And also, we can unite to be great partner. Online writer is part time job, but it was wrong.
