With the New Year now here, below are a few things to think about when setting a resolution.
Take small steps. Set small goals and reward yourself when you reach each milestone.
Keep positive. Your goal should not reflect on a bad habit or feeling.
Be creative. It’s much easier to stick with a goal if it is fun and new.
Be realistic. Don’t set yourself up for failure.
Anticipate roadblocks. Setbacks will happen. The key is getting back on track and forgetting the past. Learn from your slip-ups.
Build a support system. Find a workout buddy, hire a personal trainer or nutritionist or set a goal with a friend to keep yourself accountable and motivated.
