This First Aid Course is for people who care about and for kids (parents, grandparents, guardians, sitters). It will be an 8 hour program held over the course of 2 consecutive Saturdays: 9:00-1:00 January 23rd, & January 30th. Those groups endorsing the course and/or involved in it:
- Missoula Emergency Services Inc.
- City Fire Department
- Rural Fire Department
- Aerie Backcountry & Emergency Medicine
- The Life Long Learning Center
- Community Hospital Emergency Department & Care Flight
- St. Patrick’s Hospital Emergency Department & Life Flight
Huge thanks to Laura Gardner who will be coordinating this effort. She is a mother of 2 and a Paramedic. She has an extensive background in teaching pre-hospital emergency classes. She has taught classes in CPR, 1st Aid, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, EMT-Basic and Paramedic courses.
