Are you bored with your cardio routine? It’s important to mix up you workouts, not only to avoid boredom, but to challenge your body in different ways. Here are a few options:
1. Endurance
Endurance workouts are at a lower intensity allowing you to work out for a longer period of time. Go for 20-50 minutes and your body will get better at burning fat and working more efficiently.
2. Intervals
Intervals are a great way to challenge yourself with a limited amount of time. Intervals alternate between high and low intensity bursts. The length of time of each interval can vary, but make sure your high intensity is a challenge. This trains your heart to recover quickly and revs up your metabolism for burning fat.
3. Fitness Training
Fitness training is going at a full effort for up to twenty minutes. It is hard to maintain, but in the end your heart will be in better shape and you will be able to work out at a higher intensity as you get better at this.
It’s important to make the most of your workouts. You don’t want to be exerting energy and not seeing the maximum results, right?
